A Taobao or Weidian shoe size chart is not a universal conversion table. First identify the exact product and SKU. Then read the units and column labels on that source page. Keep seller chart data, CuriCart conversion text, and any QC measurement separate. If the page does not define CM, JP, foot length, or insole length, record the meaning as unknown instead of guessing.
Four different records can appear during product research. They do not mean the same thing.
A seller or source-page size chart is information shown on the original Taobao or Weidian product record. It may be a table, an image, or text in the description. It belongs to that seller and product.
A SKU size label is the option attached to a selectable product variant. A label such as EU42, US9, or 270 may identify an option. It does not explain its measurement method by itself.
Product-page conversion text is a mapping shown on a research page. A CuriCart record may connect an EU label with US, UK, CM, or JP text. Treat that mapping as information from the page you are reading. Do not assume that it is a universal brand chart.
A QC measurement is a visible measurement of an item. It may appear in an image after an item has been photographed. A measurement image is different from a seller chart and different from a size label. None of the four CuriCart examples in this guide was verified as having an agent-issued QC measurement image.
Use this table as a research note. It separates platform fields, brand sizing rows, and CuriCart product-page examples. It should not be read as a universal fit chart.

Record the full product title before reading a size row. Then record the selected style, color, and size label.
A size chart can cover several variants. The main product image may also show a different color or style from the selected SKU. Compare the title, option label, and product photos before using any conversion text.
Use the CuriCart Weidian product-link guide when you also need to confirm the source URL and itemID. A matching itemID identifies a source record, but it does not prove that a size conversion is accurate.
Look for the system named at the top of each column. Common page labels may include EU, US, UK, CM, JP, millimeters, foot length, or insole length.
Keep the unit with the number. 27 cm equals 270 mm as a unit conversion, but a size option marked 270 is not automatically a measured foot length. The page must define what the number represents.
Do not remove men's or women's labels. The THE ROGER Clubhouse Pro Style 30 size record uses both men's and women's US labels in parts of its conversion text. Dropping that context would change the meaning of the row.
A centimeter value needs a definition.
Nike's current men's footwear guide states that the CM size shown on its boxes and labels is different from foot length in centimeters. On's current sizing information describes its JP row as centimeter-based and gives its own foot-measurement guidance. These two first-party examples show why one label should not be applied to every brand or seller.
An Alibaba Open Platform size-component specification, updated on February 24, 2025 and checked on August 28, 2026, provides a Taobao-side example. It says merchant-entered size data can appear in the product-detail size assistant. For listed women's and men's shoe categories, the specification identifies foot length (cm) as a required field. That definition applies when the field is actually labeled that way. It does not prove that an unlabeled number means foot length, and it does not replace the current seller chart.
Foot length, an insole measurement, and a CM or JP label may refer to different records. If a source page does not define the field, write CM meaning unknown. Do not turn the number into a fit recommendation.
Photos cannot prove fit, but they can help confirm that you are reading the right option.
Check whether the visible shoe shape, color, upper, sole, and style details match the product title and selected SKU. Then compare the size label with the conversion text shown on the same record.
For example, the Nike Mind 001 Style 16 page displays EU/US/UK/CM text. This is useful for recording the page's stated mapping. It does not certify that the CM value is foot length, insole length, or the best size for a person.
The four verified CuriCart examples use different label patterns.
The Golden Goose Super-Star White Style 7 page displays EU35-EU45 with US, UK, and CM text.
The PRADA America's Cup Navy Style 12 page displays EU36-EU45 with US, UK, and CM text.
THE ROGER example uses women's US, men's US, UK, and JP labels. The Nike Mind example uses EU, US, UK, and CM labels. These differences are a reason to preserve the exact row instead of building one replacement chart from several products.
Open the current source record and look for the same product title, style, photos, and size option. If a size chart is visible, check whether it defines each unit.
The examples reviewed for this guide use Weidian item pages. Their source URLs returned HTTP 200 during the review. That response confirms that a URL was accessible at that time. It does not confirm a size field, current availability, final price, or fit.
No live Taobao seller product example was verified for this draft. The first-party Taobao specification confirms that defined size fields can appear in the product-detail size assistant, including foot length (cm) for listed shoe categories. On an actual product record, use only the chart, option labels, and definitions visible on that current page. Do not assume that a Weidian conversion applies to Taobao.
Before choosing where to continue, record these fields:
Product title:: Save the complete name and model shown on the research page.
Source URL:: Keep the current Taobao or Weidian address and item identifier when visible.
Selected SKU:: Record the exact style, color, and size option.
Chart owner:: Note whether the information comes from the seller page, CuriCart, a brand guide, or a measurement image.
Size system:: Keep EU, US men's, US women's, UK, CM, JP, or millimeter labels with each value.
Measurement meaning:: Write foot length, insole length, label size, or `unknown` exactly as the page supports.
Photo match:: Confirm that the visible product and color match the SKU you are researching.
Conflict note:: If two records disagree, save both values and mark the conflict unresolved.
For more platform context, review the Shopping Agent Platform Guide. The CuriCart Buy Research Guides hub covers other product-research questions.
A size chart can document labels and stated measurements. It cannot promise fit.
The chart also cannot confirm the inside length of a future item unless that measurement is directly defined and shown. Product photos cannot prove width, hidden construction, comfort, or measurement accuracy. A working source URL cannot confirm availability or a final option-level price.
Treat missing or conflicting information as unknown. A careful record is more useful than an unsupported conversion.
Use these category cards to compare product photos, size labels, style options, listed prices, and source-page details on current CuriCart product records.
Do not assume that they are. Read the exact SKU label and the seller's current chart. A number can be an EU label, a CM or JP label, a millimeter-based label, or another seller-defined option. Keep the original unit and wording.
Not necessarily. Nike's current footwear guide explicitly separates its CM box or label size from foot length in centimeters. Another brand or seller may define its chart differently. Use the definition on the current source page.
Do not treat them as equal. Foot length measures the foot. Insole length describes a shoe insert component when that measurement is actually provided. If a chart does not say which one it uses, mark the field as unknown.
Photos can help match the product, color, style, and visible label to a SKU. They cannot confirm fit or an inside measurement that is not shown. A photo used for visual research is also not automatically an agent-issued QC measurement image.
Save each value with its source. Check that all records describe the same product and option. Then review the current seller or third-party page for clarification. Do not average the numbers or choose a conversion without evidence.
Research and page checks were completed on August 28, 2026.
Google Autocomplete was checked for Taobao, Weidian, and Chinese size-chart language. It was used only as demand evidence.
Reddit discussions were used to identify questions and conflicting user advice. They were not used as platform facts.
Alibaba's Open Platform size-component specification was checked on August 28, 2026 for its Taobao/Tmall product-detail display description and its defined `foot length (cm)` field for listed shoe categories. It was not treated as a live seller product example.
Nike's official men's footwear chart was used for its specific warning about CM labels and foot length.
On's official product information was used for its description of JP sizing and foot measurement.
Four current CuriCart shoe pages were checked for product photos, listed price references, style or SKU information, visible size text, and Weidian itemIDs.
The four matching Weidian source URLs returned HTTP 200.
No universal conversion, fit result, agent-issued QC measurement, live Taobao seller product example, clothing chart, or current qualified video was verified.
